Mexico city

Mexico city has changed a lot in the last 10 years going from a hectic city to a more modern city with amazing museums and so many attractions. The main attractions are all within the city center, except to few.

Catedral Metropolitana

In the city center (Centro Historico), one can visit the Palacio de Bellas Artes, Catedral Metropolitana which over looks a huge plaza (called Zocalo, the 2nd largest public square in the world) with a supersized Mexican flag. Away from the city center, one can visit Casa Azul of the late Freda Kahlo. Be aware of the long lineups. As it may take up to one hour to get in due to the popularity of the house and Freda!

Bellas Artes Palacio

The most recognizable attraction of all is the pyramids of Teotihuacan which is an hour away (25 miles) from the city by bus or car. It is a great place to see Pyramids and take pictures. You need about 2 hours to see the place at a moderate pace.
