One of the very common questions any traveler is asked is what is your favorite country? Answering this question gets more harder the more you travel. Sometimes, it feels like you don’t wanna pick a side. But some places are really better than others! To each his or her own criteria. It can be about nice beaches, party scene, culture, value for money, safety, comfort, world class museums…etc.

Here I share my list which will be kept up to date. I give a score for each country I have visited. It is not a scientific fact but I would love to hear your thoughts on how to improve this. Comment below if you agree or disagree. This is a very subjective order and may not be popular!

So here is my criteria, which I consider fair and square. As you see the ranking for each criterion ranges from one star (very bad) to 5 starts (very good).

Attractions: beaches, man-made and historical structures, natural wonders, museums, and cultural scene.

Logistics: English spoken widely, easy entry and exit, no corruption, and straightforward logistics (reservations, car rental,…etc).
